Our Teachers

Ms. Kayla serves as the Owner, Director, and Lead Teacher at Leap Ahead Learning Center. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, with a Minor in Athletic Coaching from Marian University, as well as an Early Childhood Special Education Degree from UW-Stevens Point and a Small Business Degree from Moraine Park Technical College. 

Ms. Kayla's passion for education and lifelong learning is evident in both her academic achievements and her teaching philosophy. With 14 years of teaching experience, she is dedicated to inspiring her students to develop a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. Prior to founding Leap Ahead Learning Center, Ms. Kayla taught 4K in the Sun Prairie Area School District.

As a mother of four, Ms. Kayla's personal experiences in seeking quality early childhood education for her own children inspired her to open Leap Ahead. Outside of the classroom, she is actively involved in the community, coaching youth volleyball and basketball and participating in local community organizations and events.

Ms. Miranda

Ms. Miranda is the Assistant Teacher at Leap Ahead Learning Center. She holds an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Moraine Park Technical College. Shortly after graduating, Ms. Miranda joined Leap Ahead and has been a dedicated member of the teaching team for the past 11 years. Throughout her time in the classroom, she has enjoyed supporting students in their learning and development each day.  Outside of the classroom, Ms. Miranda enjoys spending time with her nieces, nephews, and many cousins!
